Swimming Out of Pomfret

Swimming Out of Pomfret was made from a lot of 2" x 2" woodcuts pasted onto handmade Yamaguchi Kozo paper. (I tried to count them but started to get seasick and stopped.) Each individual print was cut and hand-pulled from one, four, five or six blocks of basswood plywood, depending on the print.

There are three different images in addition to a solid-colored triangle. (Please excuse my lacking photography skill which resulted in the distorted image.)
