Barred Plymouth Rocks

My friend's father raises various birds for shows. These chickens are from sketches I did at his coops, three miles down the road.

Barred Plymouth Rocks was carved from eight blocks with nine impressions. Four blocks were cut from basswood plywood and the feathers on the birds were from four blocks of Douglas fir.
